Born in Tennessee, my dad, mom, brothers and I moved west to Buffalo, Wyoming when I was only 10 years old. At age 11 I felt a call to preach the word of God and began to pursue a license in ministry during my teen years. My wife Janet and I met in Sheridan, Wyoming and became high school sweethearts. We married in 1992 and we have three amazing boys. Brayden is our oldest. Dawson is our middle son, and Chandler is our youngest. Together, we have had the wonderful privilege of serving our church family, Bethesda Worship Center, since 1998. All of our family serves in various ways in the ministry. We have a passion for leading others to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior and to assist others in growing as followers of Jesus. We deeply love our community, our state and our region. My heart is forever in this area. It is home.

I am Jen Outland, and I’m proud to serve as the Administrative Director for Bethesda Worship Center. Beyond my professional role, I am a devoted wife and mother of four, I am blessed to call the town of Sheridan, Wyoming, our home. In addition to my responsibilities at BWC, my most cherished roles are that of a loving wife and mother. Nurturing a family has taught me the importance of compassion, patience, and the value of a supportive community. My family and I have found a home in the welcoming community of Sheridan, where we embrace the beauty of our surroundings and the warmth of our neighbors. With a background in administration and a heart dedicated to service, I've navigated my professional journey with the goal of enhancing the administrative functions of our beloved church! I am committed to staying abreast of the best practices in church administration through continuous learning and professional development. My mission is to facilitate a seamless experience for our staff, our leadership & our congregation here at Bethesda. It is a great honor to serve as your Administrative Director.
We believe the Bible is the only infallible, inspired and authoritative Word of God. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in His sinless life, in His atoning death, and in His bodily resurrection in His ascension to the right hand of the Father. We believe that the only way for mankind to be saved from sin and hell, is by faith in what Christ has done for us and the repentance of our sin.
