Serving Opportunities

First Impressions

At Bethesda Worship Center, we believe every person who walks through our doors should feel seen, loved, and welcomed just as they are. Our First Impressions Team is made up of friendly faces who serve with joy to make sure your first experience at BWC is a great one! From the parking lot to the sanctuary, our greeters, ushers, and Guest & Information Center hosts are here to answer questions, offer a smile, and help you find your place. Whether it’s your first Sunday or your hundredth, our goal is simple: to create an atmosphere where you can encounter Jesus, connect with others, and feel right at home.

Community Ministries

Bethesda Worship Center is passionate about serving our community! Each month, our teams actively partner with local organizations, from leading services at nursing homes to blessing the staff and students within our school districts. Through these opportunities, we’re building meaningful relationships and sharing God’s love in tangible ways.

Ushers and Watchmen

Our Ushers, Watchmen, and Security Team play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment for everyone who comes to worship. This dedicated group helps guide guests to their seats, assists with parking and traffic flow, answers questions, and ensures the building is secure and safe before, during, and after services. Made up of people with servant hearts, this team works behind the scenes to make sure each service runs smoothly, allowing everyone to focus on what matters most: encountering the presence of God.

Student Ministries

Here at Bethesda Worship Center, we LOVE KIDS & STUDENTS!!! We have a heart to see kids grow in the knowledge of God and their faith! We provide great take-home material for you (the parent/guardian) to help you with your busy schedule and give you something easy to go over with your child. We use a mix of the “Orange” curriculum, by ReThink Group and Grow Curriculum, by Stiff You Can Use. These are great bible-based curriculums, to help your student grow through their phases.

Audio/Video/Live Stream

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege for our church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. The sound team is one of the most important parts in our effort to accomplish excellence in each service. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio format, and to our YouTube channel in video format. We also maintain an active Facebook & Instagram for additional church communication.

Worship Ministry

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers are praying for the ministry of the Word. They also assist the Pastor by praying with individuals as needed. Throughout the week, volunteers from our Prayer Warriors team pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.
